Preamble

The following general sale conditions are agreed between ISADORA FEVEREIRO UNIPESSOAL, Ltd, headquartered at Rua de Valongo nº165 with the tax identification number 509 386 245 and contact +351 220 926 625, hereinafter referred to as “Quartier Latin” and the people who wish to purchase items through the online store quartierlatin.pt, hereinafter referred to as “user”.

The parties agree that any purchase made through the online store queartierlatin.pt will be exclusively regulated by the following contract, excluding any condition previously available on the website.

Object

The following general conditions of sale aim to provide and outline all the necessary information for the user regarding the ordering, sale, payment and delivery of purchases made in the online store quartierlatin.pt.

These conditions regulate all necessary steps to place an order and guarantee the follow-up of such order between the contracting parties.

Registering in the website

The registration in the Quartier Latin is free.

The user must fill in all fields of the registration form in the website and complete and accurate information.

It is the user’s full responsibility any and all consequence derived from the incorrect indication of information namely that regarding billing and shipment.

The user must be over 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Quartier Latin reserves the right to suspend, without prior notice, compensation or liability, access to the website either temporarily or permanently.

Quartier Latin does not guarantee that the website will operate uninterruptedly.

Quartier Latin is not responsible for the improper use by third parties of the Username and/or password and its derived consequences.

Quartier Latin also reserves the right to make corrections or alterations to the website and it’s content without prior notice and does not guarantee that all information published on its website is in compliance with the legislation in force in the user’s jurisdiction, except for the Portuguese territory and, when applicable, the European Union.

Item description

All items presented in this website are described as accurately as possible. Users should read the referred description as carefully as possible and, in case there are any questions, they should contact Quartier Latin via the available contacts.

Due to the type of computer that is used, colour settings, Internet browser and others, the colours shown in the photographs of the website may differ from the actual colours.

Quartier Latin cannot be held accountable for such differences.

Order

The user places his/her order through the conclusion of the purchase process shown at the quartierlatin.pt online store by adding the desired product(s) and/or service(s) to the shopping basket:

To send the order, the user must:

a) Register in the online store quartierlatin.pt by providing the requested information;

b) Log in (providing a combination of e-mail and password chosen by the user when registering);

c) Complete the information and choose the options that are made available throughout the order completion process (delivery and billing address, shipping method, payment method as well as the Tax Information Number and the name that, for fiscal purposes, is intended to be shown in the invoice).

Final validation of the order by the user is equivalent to full and thorough acceptance of price and description of products and services available as well as these General sales Conditions that will be the only ones applicable thus concluded contract.

Quartier Latin will honour all orders received online solely up to the limits imposed by available stock. In the absence of product availability, Quartier Latin commits to promptly inform the user/customer.

The information contained in the invoice is the sole responsibility of the user. Once issued, the invoice cannot be reissued with alterations.

Order requests are valid for 24 hours (twenty four hours) unless the order is registered under a promotional campaign that defines a different deadline; it is not possible to assure prices, discounts, promotions and offers beyond this term. In case payment is not received by our services within the referred time limit, orders cannot be validated. Any amount received after this date will be refunded or used in a new order.

Payment

In its online store, Quartier Latin suggests using one of the following payment methods via Easypay – Payment Institution, Ltd:

  1. MB Way (easypay);
  2. Multibanco (easypay);
  3. Credit and debit cards, etc. (Viva Wallet);
  4. Paypal;
  5. Cryptocurrencies (Coinbase).

In the case of credit card payment, debit will be made in the user’s card immediately after confirmation of merchandise shipment. If some ordered products are out of stock, the difference in value will be credited in the user’s card after the order is closed.

Delivery

Delivery of orders will take place within 24 working hours after ordering. Delivery is carried out by CTT Expresso.

Shipping costs are added to the order in the following amounts: €11 for Portugal, €18.35 for other European countries and €27.95 for the rest of the world.

Prices

Prices must be assumed in Euros. As the products on sale at the quartierlatin.pt online store are second-hand, they are exempt from VAT.

If there is an increase in the price of a desired product, the user will be informed immediately, being able to choose between receiving their order (by paying the price difference) or proceeding to its cancellation.

Cancellation and return

Quartier Latin handles the process of cancellation and/or return on a case-by-case basis. The request must arrive in writing to the e-mail info@quartierlatin.pt within 24 hours after ordering with the instructions of cancellation and/or return of the items answered and defined by Quartier Latin via the same means of communication.

Whenever possible, the return will be made using the same payment method. If this is not possible, the user must present proof of payment and ownership of bank account or card so as to enable refund via bank transfer.

Quartier Latin commits to refunding the user within a maximum of 24 hours after confirmation of returned items.

Returned products must be in sale condition, i.e. in the same condition they reached the user without any kind of anomaly or damage.

If the value resulting in the exchange of products of an order is inferior or superior to the initial value, the settlement conditions will be indicated by Quartier Latin.

Others

Users agree that the use of this website implies acceptance and acknowledgment of its General Conditions stated in this document.

This condition is valid from the registration of the user in the website and applicable to each transaction.

In case one or more provisions in these Terms are withdrawn by legislative, regulatory or court decisions, all other provisions remain applicable.

Quartier Latin reserves the right to modify these General Conditions so as to improve the provided services and in view of market conditions.

The user, therefore, commits to regularly consulting this page to be aware of changes made.

Any refusal to accept the revised terms must be reported to Quartier Latin through Customer Service or by letter addressed to:

All alterations will take effect immediately for all transactions once published online.

This website, its content, catalogue illustrations, photographs and images are the property of Quartier Latin. It is forbidden to fully or partially reproduce, display and/or explore the website, its content, catalogue, illustrations, texts, photographs and images without Quartier Latin’s express authorization.

This contract is subject to Portuguese law. Any dispute with a user is the responsibility of the District Court of Matosinhos.
